Each month, B Safe Security will be looking at some of its unspoken heroes with our Employee Spotlight. This month, we’re spotlighting our Regional Sales Coordinator, Tammy Wedin.
What do you do at B Safe?
As a Regional Sales Coordinator, I handle all of our contracts and everything related to sales. I’m also the point person for our CRM, and I work closely with every department: service, the executive team, and the administrative managers/sales coordinators in each branch.
What do you like about working at B Safe?
Every day, my job can be challenging. But every day, there is never a dull moment and it can be very rewarding. I am constantly learning new ways to make my job a little easier and to make my department run more smoothly. Everyone here is a team player and willing to jump in whenever it’s needed. I couldn’t ask for a better company. It’s nice to hear how much you are valued and respected.
What’s your family like?
I have been married to my husband Josh for 24 years. We have no children but we are parents to our two furbabies, one is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu named Daisy. She is a daddy’s girl and loves attention. Our cat is six years old and his name is Smoke. He’s a very affectionate cat.
What is something fun you do outside of work?
Outside of work, Josh and I like to go camping and hiking. We’re outdoorsy people. One of my other favorite things to do is go shopping at our favorite store, Boscov’s. We go weekly, and most of the workers there know us.
Finally, what is a Tammy Wedin fun fact?
People would be surprised to know that in kindergarten, I was awarded a Medal of Bravery from the local fire department for saving my sister and mother from a house fire early one morning. I’m also into art, especially painting and photography, and I’m a huge fan of the paranormal. Yes, I’m weird like that.
